Meet the Mavens

Toni started her career in events back in 2004, organizing large scale celebrations at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier.  That’s where she quickly learned how even the smallest detail can make-or-break her guests’ enjoyment. That attention to detail came with her when she relocated to her hometown outside of Philadelphia, and founded The Mitzvah Mavens. Large event expertise, and hands-on personal service is how Toni and her team of “mavens” approach every Mitzvah Party, regardless of size. With a reputation for spotting new trends, and finding top quality, innovative products that turn parties into hits, Toni & her team can work with you to plan a concept from scratch, or find the perfect party favors to fit the theme you’ve already created. Just don’t ask to see her Bat Mitzvah photos…her spikey hair was proof that her creative maturity hadn’t fully developed yet.

As a talented abstract artist who’s sold her work around the world, it’s no wonder that Johanna left her corporate career for something that would give her more creative freedom. Working with “Jo”, you get a balanced blend of business acumen and creativity…which translates into knowing how to save you a few bucks, but make it look like you spent twice as much. Johanna will guide you step by step through the mitzvah favor process, and as a new empty-nester, she’s got lots of extra time to obsess over every detail of your party…so you don’t have to!

Both Toni & Johanna have also been known to wear “sample swag” around the office on occasion.
